Introducing the speakers for the COP30 — Power Games or Climate Solutions?

Niko Humalisto is an adj. professor in social geography at the University of Easter Finland and an expert of advocacy at FELM.

Sommer Ackerman is the Policy Group Coordinator for Luontoliitto.

Eeva Mäkinen is a reasearcher and founder of Polifa, an international research and advocacy organization focused on political imagination, freedom and democracy.

Join us next Thursday for a thought provoking evening with talks and a workshop for action planning that poses the question: how can we put pressure on the participants of the COP negotiations so that it becomes an impactful platform that offers real opportunities for change?
